Jeepster Commando

The cult classic and club Jeepster Commando was first made by Kaiser Jeep before being bought by American Motors (AMC). It was made available as a pickup truck, convertible, roadster and wagon making it one of the most variable at stock, classic Jeep vehicles. The C101 model was the most popular with classic Jeep style. There was also a custom 1971 Hurst Jeepster made which is one of the rarest models on the vintage used Jeep market. After 1971, AMC changed the model to the C104 and called it the Jeep Commando. This version featured a standard AMC grille and long wheel base which did not perform well in the market, thus leading to its demise in 1973.
